Lafe’s deodorants were created to address consumer concerns that natural deodorants are only marginally effective. Since we started our deodorant line in 1992, we have been creating formulations using active ingredients with proven antibacterial properties. With consumer friendly ingredients such as natural mineral salts, baking soda, hemp oil, and essential oils, Lafe's is able to create healthy, organic deodorants that are highly effective in eliminating body odor.
Most of our deodorants are made with mineral salts, similar to those found in the earth's crust. Mineral salts eliminate bacteria that cause body odor. Lafe's deodorants are not antiperspirants; we believe that perspiration is a healthy and natural process for the body. Our deodorants are formulated to eliminate the cause of body odor, bacteria, naturally. Each product has a natural antibacterial agent, along with certified organic ingredients such as hemp oil, aloe vera and essential oils.
Lafe's deodorants are a healthy alternative to antiperspirants. Antiperspirants plug
up the pores of the skin, which is an unhealthy process, as perspiration in a healthy process allowing toxins to be released from the body. We believe, as do many others, that long-term use of antiperspirants may contribute to breast cancer and other diseases common in the western world. Lafe's deodorant line does not contain any parabens, propylene glycol, synthetic preservatives, artificial fragrances, or petroleum-based chemicals.
The line includes:
- Hemp roll-ons, available in five scents (active, lavender, tea tree, fresh
and powder) and unscented, made with mineral salts, certified organic hemp
oil, aloe vera and essentail oils;
- Hemp deodorant sticks available in five scents (same as above) and unscented; specially formulated with baking soda, certified organic hemp oil, aloe vera and essential oils; 97% natural ingredients;
- Deodorant spray with aloe vera, available unscented, lavender scent or with MSM;
- Crystal deodorant sticks and stones made with natural mineral salts (potassium alum); available in travel or regular size; 99% natural ingredients;
- Peppermint oil foot spray, blending peppermint oil with aloe vera and mineral salts
